If the system Administrator has activated the new UI, the Learner can enable the new UI for his/her user account (1).
To enable the new UI as the Administrator, review the steps in this guide.
While the new UI is active, the sidebar will be available on the left on all pages that the Learner may visit. The sidebar can be retracted or expanded. To view the sidebar as a different type of user, check these steps: Administrator and Instructor.
The new sidebar

The sidebar can be used to quickly access all of the Learner’s main features, such as enrolled Courses (2), Course Catalog (3), Skill Gap Tests (4), Calendar (5), Messages (6), and Discussions (7).
