This guide explains how you can replace specific words or phrases within your eFront portal with custom text using the Languages settings (Language Override).
Steps
- Log in as an administrator.
- From the administrator dashboard, go to Languages (1).
- In the list of available languages, find the one you want to modify and click the Overrides icon (2).
- In the pop-up window:
- On the left (3), enter the exact word or phrase you want to replace.
- On the right (4), enter the new word or phrase you want to use.
| Note: Add each term on a new line to ensure the changes apply properly. |
Your replacement will now appear throughout the system for the users with the specific selected language.
Example
Let’s say you want to replace the menu title "My Training" (1) with "My Courses" for the English (US) language.
- Follow steps 1–4 above.
- In the pop-up:
- Left field: My Training (2)
- Right field: My Courses (3)
- Click Save (4)
This change (5) will immediately apply across the platform for that language.
