The new user interface (UI) currently includes changes in the Courses list, Users list, Courses to Users list, and Users to Courses list. More UI changes will be added in the future. By switching to the new UI, the Courses list will offer more options when exporting, as well as the ability to customize columns in a list view.
To switch to the new UI:
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Go to “System Settings” (1).
- Select “Try new UI” (2). You can see what is included in the new UI here (3). Click “Enable” (4).
- Now that the new UI option is active, expand the top-right drop-down menu (5) and select “Try new UI” (6).
The added features in the new table UI
After enabling the new UI, you’ll notice that you can edit the table in the new Courses list, Users list, Courses to Users list, and Users to Courses list.
For example, to edit the Course’s table:
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Go to “Courses” (1).
- Click the table icon (2) to expand the table columns and use the slider (3) to enable or disable the columns in the table.
- Reorganize the columns by dragging and dropping them horizontally (4).
- Click the export icon (5) to find the available download options (6).
- Sort the courses based on your desired column (7). Hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard to sort the first column you’ve selected with another column (8).
Disable the new UI
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Expand the top-right drop-down menu (1) and select “Disable new UI” (2).
- Go to “System Settings” (3).
- Select “Try new UI” (4) and then choose “Disable” (5).
