In order for the SCORM content to work properly, the imsmanifest.xml file needs to reside in the initial folder.
For example, if you receive an error message stating that the file you uploaded is not a valid SCORM file, chances are that the file isn't zipped correctly.
In order to validate the problem, first, unzip your file.
Upon visiting the unzipped file, if the folder that includes the manifest file is visible then this is most probably it.
Here you have the steps that you should follow to resolve this issue:
1. Unzip the original file.
2. Enter that folder. This should include the SCORM files in a sub-folder.
3. Enter the sub-folder.
4. Select all sub-folder files and continue to Zip.
5. Upload the new Zip on eFront.
Note: Some vendors release their SCORM packages intended for use in Windows devices, the eFront system library cannot extract the zip directories properly. Performing the above steps will resolve such issues too. |
