eFront lets you integrate your system with the OpenSesame repository to search for the best available content directly from within your portal.

What is OpenSesame

In the words of the OpenSesame creators: "Our primary goal at OpenSesame is to make finding, and purchasing eLearning courses simple and affordable. Customize your online training search to best meet your needs – filter by course length, price or features. Preview courses before you buy. Receive personalized course recommendations through our Course Concierge service."

Setting up your integration

OpenSesame offers a seamless integration with eFront that allows you to import and manage courses directly through your eFront portal, saving time and avoiding manual uploads.

Step 1: Request integration credentials

To get started, you need your OpenSesame Customer Integration ID (CIID). You can request this from your OpenSesame Implementation Specialist.

Step 2: Set up the integration in eFront

1. Log in to your eFront portal with Administrator rights.
2. Go to System Settings (1).
   
   
3. Click on the Integrations (2) tab and then OpenSesame (3) tab.
4. Check the box Enable OpenSesame (4).
5. Enter your Client ID (5), Client Secret (6), Client Integration (7), and click Save (8).
