When a Learner wants to attend an overbooked session, they have the option to add themselves to the training event's waitlist. All they have to do is click on the "Waitlist" button (1) that appears in place of the regular "Select" button.
Then, the user has to confirm the action by clicking "OK" (2) on the modal that pops up.
Using the Waitlist tab
To view a session's waitlist as an administrator, go to the "Waitlist" (1) tab on the training event's page. To override the event's seat limit, click on the "check" (2) icon and assign a waitlisted user to the session. To remove a user from the waitlist, click on the "trash bin" (3) icon.
Adding a Learner to the Waitlist as an Administrator
When attempting to assign a session to a user as an administrator, you might find that the session is already fully booked. When that is the case, a modal pops-up to notify you (1), but also provide you with the option to "Proceed" (2).
When you proceed, the user is added to the session's waitlist. The user is notified by an "In waitlist" button (3) in place of the regular "Select" button on the training event's page.
When there is at least one user on the waitlist, it can also be confirmed from the "Sessions" (5) tab on the lesson's page. Under the "Users" column, the users' total is shown to be higher than the session's user capacity (4).
