To assign more than one session directly to a user with a single action, those sessions simply have to be chained together.
In eFront, you have the option to chain any session to other sessions from different training events. Take, for instance, a blended course with:
- 2 training events (Motivational meetings - Weeks 1 & 2)
-
3 sessions in each event (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday), each chained to the other event's session that takes place on the same day of the week.
To chain Monday's session of Week 2 with Monday's session of Week 1, go to the "Advanced settings" (1) page for "Training session 1: Monday session week 2" and, from the "Chain with" drop-down list, pick "Monday session week 1" (2).
Repeat the above action for all sessions of Week 2 to chain them to the sessions happening on the same day of Week 1.
So, now that "Monday session week 2" is chained to "Monday session week 1" you can simply assign a user to "Monday session week 2" (3) for them to have access to both sessions.
At the same time, in the learner area, the user can see that they have access both to "Monday session week 1" and "Monday session week 2".
