The question pool feature allows you to identify questions to be randomly selected from the course so that random tests are created. Let’s take a look at the process, step by step. Enter the course and then the lesson for which you want to create the random pool. Through 'Add Content' section click on 'Go to Tests' (1).
Move to the Questions tab (2) and click to add A randomized question (3).
Note: Up to this point we suppose that you have already created some questions in your lesson.
Type the Question title (4) and click on Save and select pool questions button (5).
Click the No button to turn it to Yes thus add the question to your pool (6). If you want to add all of them to your pool, you can use the Add all button (7). Finally, you can also use questions from other lessons (8) if you want.
That's it! We have now a pool of questions and let's see how we can use it to create a random test. Go back to the Tests tab (9) and click to Add a test (10).
Move to the questions tab and select the Pool question to add to the specific test (11).
You will notice a little arrow next to the 'Yes' tag. Clicking on it you can select the number of the questions that will be randomly selected from the Randomized question you just added (12).
Now, every time a user clicks to take the test the system will automatically randomly select the number of questions you have selected and generate a random test.
