There are several different ways that you can access and grade submitted Assignments.
Grade submitted assignments via Alerts.
After each learner submits their assignment, an alert is automatically triggered. To access a learner's submission, click on the alerts icon (1) and, from the alerts feed, click on an alert summary (2).
On the Alerts page, click on an alert (3) to go to the specific learner's submission.
On the Grade submission modal window, go to the User response (4) tab to view the learner's answer, uploaded files and time of submission.
Then, go to the Grade (5) tab, pick a Status (6) from the drop-down menu (choose among Incomplete, Passed, Failed, and Pending), enter your grade in the Score field (7) and leave your personal feedback to the learner in Comments (8). To complete grading the assignment, click on the Grade submission (9) button.
Grade submitted assignments via the Course Dashboard.
You can also access the assignment submissions from the Course’s Dashboard page. Click on Add Content (1) and, from the drop-down menu, pick Go to Assignments (2).
On the Course's Assignments page, click on an assignment (3).
On the assignment's page, go to the Submissions (4) tab.
On the Operations column, click on the pencil icon (5) to view and grade the submission as described above. From this page, you can also Download all submissions in a ZIP folder (6), download the submissions list in a CSV file format (7), contact each learner by email (8), and remove a submission (9) from the list.
Grade submitted assignments via Gradebook.
Lastly, you can access and grade submitted assignments via the Gradebook option. To access it, click on Gradebook (1).
You will see the pending assignments and tests that need your attention. Click on Score (2).
Find the assignment you want to grade and click on View (3).
Click on Grade (4), set the Status (5), Score (6), and then click on Grade assignment (7) in order to grade the assignment.
