You can generate a new test using our AI test generation tool. You can activate this feature by following these steps.
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Go to “System Settings” (1).
- Select “Integrations” (2), go to the “AI” (3) tab, check the option “Enable AI Feature” (4) and click “Save” (5).
Note: By enabling and using the AI integration, you consent to sending data to OpenAI. You are strongly recommended not to use Personal Identifying Information (PII) data in the content you send to OpenAI. |
After activating the AI feature, you will now find the option “Generate AI test” next to all course lessons. To generate a new test, follow the steps below.
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Go to “Courses” (1) and select the course you want to generate the test for (2).
- Click the “Generate AI test” (3) button for the lesson for which you want to generate the test.
- Select the units you want the AI to generate the questions from (4), check the option to consent to send data to OpenAI (5) and click “Generate test” (6).
Note: You can use text, PDF, Doc, and URL units to generate questions. If the selected units have multilingual content, then the question will be generated based on the content of current user’s language - The system will take a few minutes to generate the test questions. In the meantime, you can close the loading window, and the process will continue in the background.
- After some time has passed, you will receive a notification that the process has been completed (7), and you can click it to navigate to the generated test questions or simply press the “Generate AI test” (8) button again, for the same lesson, to bring up the generated questions.
- You can delete (9), edit (10), or rearrange the answers and questions (11). Save these questions in the lesson’s questions library for later use (12) or include them in the test unit (13).
- Add a name (14) and test description (15), and as soon as you are ready, click “Save” (16).
Note: AI can generate up to a maximum of 40 questions and can generate 4 answers for each question. The Administrator can add 16 more answers to each question (a total of 20 answers in each question). - The new test unit will be available in the course content (17).
Note: Be sure to review all AI-generated questions and answers for accuracy before sharing them with your learners. Keep in mind that all generated questions are created by a machine and have not been previously reviewed by a human. Make sure to review all generated content and use discretion before distributing it to your learners. |
