Note: This article contains instructions on how to clone a question and add it to a test unit. To clone the whole unit and add it to a course see How to clone a unit.
To clone one or more previously created questions, create a new test unit or edit an existing one. Then, from the test unit's page, go to the "Questions" (1) tab.
Here you can see a list of all the test unit's questions (if it has any). Next to each question, in the "Use" column, there is either a blue "Yes" (2) button (if the question is in use) or a white "No" button (if it's not in use).
Click on the "Show questions from" (3) button to choose among only showing questions from "This lesson", "All lessons" and a specific lesson (selected from a list). From here, you have access to all your portal's lessons, which means you can also clone questions from a different lesson inside the same course to update your content faster and more efficiently.
After choosing a specific lesson (4), you can see a list of all the questions that belong to that lesson, added to the questions of the currently edited lesson.
Pick a question to add and click on the "Clone" (5) icon next to it.
When the question has been cloned successfully, you receive a confirmation message in a pop-up window.
When you revisit this test unit, you can see the cloned question added to the list and, by default, labeled as being in use (6) (with a blue "Yes" button).
Note: Each cloned question is considered to be a new question. Therefore, its content can be edited without affecting the source question's content.
